7House was instructed by a national security and transport provider to understand the commissioning requirements of each Mental Health Trust (in the NHS domain) for their service and develop a business development campaign for implementation by their sales and operational teams.
- Develop an understanding of the Group and its service provision
- Develop a clear understanding of the 58 Mental Health Trusts (and related commissioning bodies) for the localised health economy engaging with senior commissioners
- Identify natural business development routes focussing on relevant contracts coming up for renewal in a given (and meaningful) timeframe
- Create a report for the Board Director, giving direction on which opportunities to pursue; how to approach these opportunities and when to take action
Outcomes
- Provision of a national map that provided the NHS opportunity for their service provision within the Mental Health space
- Relationships secured with commissioning units for each localised health economy
- Wider coverage and accreditation on to relevant frameworks
- Buy-in from operational team to new business approach
- 3 month project leaving sustainable legacy of process, methodologies and clear opportunities for existing services in to an expanding market vertical for the organisation
